Florence Mary Denault

Florence Mary Denault, age 87 of Park River passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at the Park River Good Samaritan Center. Florence Mary Hebert was born December 18, 1925 in Joliette, ND, the daughter of the late Merrill and Elizabeth Blanche (Kelso) Hebert. She was raised and educated in Milton, ND. After her education she became a housekeeper for a family. Florence was united in marriage to George Denault on October 6, 1943 in Milton, ND. The couple farmed and raised their family near Pisek. After their retirement in 1987, the couple moved into Park River. George passed away June 26, 2007. Florence moved into the Good Samaritan Center on January 13, 2009. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and Altar Society and the Park River American Legion Auxiliary. Florence is survived by her children: Norma Jean Denault, Rapid City, SD; Warren Denault, Park River, ND; Russel (Vicky) Denault, Fargo, ND; Gary Denault, Thatcher, AZ; Colleen Pesek, Moorhead, MN; Renee Skeim, Ypsilanti, ND; Denise (Norman) Berg, Bennett, CO; Michelle (Robert) Nattress, Port Orange, FL; Kelly (Galen) Kringstad, Grafton, ND; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings: Ray Hebert, Mountain, ND; Marlene (Richard) Branaman, Buffalo, WY; Lorraine (Bill) Joslyn, Victoria, TX; Robert (Cindy) Hebert, Fargo, ND. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband George, daughter Marjorie, daughter-in-law Sharon Denault, and brothers: Chuck, Paul and Don. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, December 16, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Park River. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 P.M. at the church. Interment will be at the Calvary Cemetery.
