Tammy Joy Daley

Tammy Joy Daley, 52, of Grafton, ND, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday Dec. 21st 2013 at Altru hospital in Grand Forks, surrounded by her family. Tammy was born on Sept. 24th, 1961 to the (late) Arlan and Esther McFarland in Drayton, ND. She was baptized in Bigwoods Lutheran Church; her God Parents were Weldie & (late) Roma McFarland. Tammy attended Oslo Public School through graduation. She was involved in many activities and received multiple awards for basketball. To this day, she enjoyed watching high school basketball and her Vikings. After graduation she attended the University of North Dakota. Tammy worked in the field of developmental disabilities, which she had wonderful relationships. Tammy and Dennis loved each other for 24 years and were married on June 28th, 1996. Tammy treasured her children Lee (Katie) McFarland and Kayla Daley. She and Dennis attended their children's activities during their high school years. She enjoyed her lake house at Springsteel with Dennis and their kids as they grew. She loved fishing and evening campfires with her family. She maintained her friendships since high school and was a loyal friend. She would do anything for you, even if you didn't ask. Tammy was always joking and was the life of the party; she made life fun for those around her. We'll always remember the fun times we spent with her, and she will be deeply missed. Left to morn her passing are her husband, Dennis; and her children Lee(Katie) and Kayla of Grand Forks, ND; her mother, Esther McFarland of Oslo, MN; her sisters Brenda (Dean) Qualley of Moorhead, MN; Terrie (Ron) Clemetson of Grand Forks, ND; and brother Tim McFarland of Oslo, MN. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Arlan; her father in-law and mother in-law, Ralph and Violet Daley; her grandparents, Ernest and Myrtle McFarland and Lawrence and Evelyn Haglund; her uncle and aunt, Vernon and Ruby McFarland; aunt, Roma McFarland; aunt, Elaine McFarland; and Uncle, Lawrence Haglund. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton. Visitation will be Friday from 5-7 PM and Saturday for one hour prior to the service all at the funeral home. Interment will be at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, rural Hoople, ND.
