Beverly A. Lewis

Beverly Ann Lewis, 84, of Park River, ND, passed away May 4, 2017 at the Good Samaritan Center, Park River ND.

Beverly Ann Magnuson was born October 17, 1932 in Cavalier, ND.  The youngest child of Magnus and Elizabeth (Thorlacius) Magnuson.  The family moved to Hoople for a s h ort time and then moved to Park River.  Beverly grew up , attended and graduated school in Park River. She was united in marriage to Clinton D. Lewis, Jr  September 26, 1956.  They farmed north of Park River until Clinton passed away in 1971.  After that, Beverly moved her family into Park River, where she worked multiple jobs until she took a full time position at Life Skills and Transition Center in Grafton, ND (formerly Developmental Center) in June of 1978 and retired from there in January of 1996.

Beverly is survived by her sons Clinton Douglas (Kathy Marine) Lewis of Aliceville, AL, and Michael Duane (Debbie) Lewis of Edinburg, ND; her grandchildren Chelsey Jo (Cody) Waslaski of Park River, ND, and Clinton Wesley Lewis of Tuscaloosa, AL; her sister Colleen Magnuson Halberg and husband, John “Demi” Halberg of Phoenix, AZ; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother, Ernest Magnuson and sister-in- law, Virgil Magnuson.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at the Our Savior’s Lutheran Church of Park River. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at the Memorial Park Cemetery of Park River .
