William G. “Bill” Sevigny, Sr. age 67 of Grafton, ND passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at his home near Grafton.

William G. Sevigny was born Feb. 25, 1950 in Grafton, ND the son of the late Roch and Phyllis (Robinson) Sevigny. He grew up and attended school in Grafton, graduating from Grafton High School. He married Frances Ferch on June 14, 1975 in Grafton. The couple made their home near Grafton. Bill worked as a parts man for North Valley Equipment.

He was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church. He loved spending time with his family and watching westerns.

Bill is survived by his wife, Frances, Grafton, ND; his children: William (Sarah) Sevigny, Jr., Blaine, MN; Stacey (David) Hofstad, Oklee, MN; Kristy Sevigny, Grafton, ND; his two grandchildren: Isabella and Ava Sevigny, his brother, Patrick (Vicki) Sevigny, Grafton, ND and sister, Catherine (James) Bosckwitz, Grygla, MN. Several nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, March 24, 2017 at 10:30 A.M. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Grafton. Visitation will be Thursday from 5-7 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton. Friends may also call at the church on Friday for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at St. John’s Cemetery, Grafton, ND in the spring.
