William Arthur Friley

William Arthur Friley (Bill) passed away on July 26, 2019 in Grafton, ND.  He was born to Charles & Mary Lou Friley on August 30, 1957 in San Francisco, California.  Bill spent his early years at home with his family in Pacifica, California.

In July 1976, after his family moved to Minto, North Dakota, Bill moved to the Life Skills and Transition Center in Grafton, where he lived until his death.

Bill loved to listen to music, watch football with his friends, and he loved children and animals. He enjoyed visits from children from the Step by Step day care, where they participated in monthly craft days, and visited the Grand Forks Humane Society to donate blankets that his mom would crochet.

Bill loved to laugh, especially if it involved playing a joke on a family member or friend. He loved the sunshine and wind in his face, and to watching the breeze blow leaves.

Bill is survived by his loving father, Charles Friley, his sister: Susan Peterson (Bruce), brother: Timothy Friley and one great-niece. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Lou Friley, nephew Michael Gage and niece Leah Miller.

Memorial services for Bill will be held Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 2p.m. at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1200 W. 12 ^th Street, Grafton, ND  58237
