William C. "Bam Bam" Borgen Jr., age 39 of Grafton, ND passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at the Altru Hospital of Grand Forks, ND. William C. Borgen Jr. was born August 1, 1974 in Cavalier, ND, the son of the late William and Carol (Flikka) Borgen. He grew up and attended school in Grafton and graduated from Grafton High School in 1995. Following his education he began working for Wayne Dupree, Associated Potato, and the Walsh County Record. He had been employed by Pastorek Construction for the last 10 years. He was united in marriage to Diane Nelson on May 3, 2005 in Las Vegas, NV. William is survived by his wife Diane, Grafton, ND, daughter LeAnn Borgen, 11 half-siblings, aunts: Linda (Kenneth) Hillstad, Bejou, MN, Eleanor (Milo) Aanenson, Fertile, MN, Audrey (Ken) Mercil, Grafton, ND, and uncles: Leslie (Linda) Flikka, Argusville, ND and Gerald (Linda) Flikka, Crookston, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents, maternal grandparents: Carl and Ruby Flikka, paternal grandparents: Oliver and Elsie Borgen, aunts: Gladys Leon, Sharon Belgarde, and uncle Alton Flikka. A memorial service will be held Thursday, January 23, 2014 at 2:30 P.M. at the Grafton Lutheran Church of Grafton, ND. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church.
