Wanda L. Hall

Wanda L. Hall, age 82 of Park River, ND passed away on Tuesday, June 03, 2008 at the Good Samaritan Center of Park River. Wanda L. Samson was born September 12, 1925 near Edinburg, ND the daughter of the late Louis and Marie (McLean) Samson. She graduated from Fairdale High School. She graduated from the Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing in Grand Forks, ND on October 31, 1946. Following her education she worked as an R.N. at the hospital in Langdon, ND. Wanda was united in marriage to Bjorn O. Hall on June 15, 1947 in Fairdale, ND. The couple made their home in Gardar, ND until 1961 when they moved to Hoople, ND. In 1987 they moved to Las Vegas, NV and lived there until 1995 when they returned to Park River, ND. Bjorn passed away on May 26, 2000 and in 2005 Wanda moved to the Good Samaritan Center in Park River.

She is survived by her children: Nicholas (Mary Jo) Hall, Grafton, ND; Douglas (Bonnie) Hall, Las Vegas, NV; Laurie (Bob) Larson, Park River, ND; daughter-in-law; Kathy Hall, Las Vegas, NV; nine grandchildren: Stephanie (Josh) Keck, Kate (Preston) Spoonland, Jeff Hall, Bjorn (Sveta) Hall, Jessica (Jeremy) Marquardt, Chris Larson, Jonny Hall, Megan (Shawn) Canning, Jacob Hall, six great grandchildren and siblings: JoAnn Jones, Tucson, AZ and Lyle (Helen) Samson, Minot, ND. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bjorn, son Thomas W., and brothers: Wesley, Glenn and Charles and Sister Virginia.
