Wanda L. Berg, age 81 of St. Thomas passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at the Altru Hospital of Grand Forks.
Wanda Lee Campbell was born December 30, 1935 in New Port, Kentucky the daughter of the late Harlan Campbell and Jeanette (Brummitt) Page. She graduated school from St. Petersburg, FL. She was united in marriage to Ronald Berg on October 2, 1954 at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida. The couple made their home where the Air Force placed them, until settling in St. Thomas, ND in 1974. Wanda worked as the manager of P and T Bar. She then worked at Motor Coach Industries until 2013, when she retired. The couple continued to make their home in St. Thomas until her death.
She was a member of the St. Thomas American Legion Auxiliary Post 168. Wanda enjoyed her family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She also loved to be with her “girls” and play Bingo. She also loved all sporting activities.
Wanda is survived by her husband, Ronald Berg, St. Thomas, ND; children: Scot (Sandy) Berg, St. Thomas, ND and Timothy Berg, Grand Forks, ND; grandchildren: Michael (Sarah) Berg, Kevin (Kelly) Berg, Lynn (Aaron) Martinez, Chelsey Berg, and Jory Berg; nine great grandchildren; brother: Donnie (Linda) Campbell, Suffolk, VA and sister: Lois Geary, Gahanna, Ohio. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father: Russell Page, three brothers, and two sisters.
Funeral services will be Friday, September 8, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at the St. Thomas Methodist Church of St. Thomas. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at the St. Thomas City Cemetery.
