Virginia Fabela

Virginia Fabela, age 69 of Fargo, formerly of Grafton, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at Sanford Health, Fargo, ND. Virginia Munoz was born August 19, 1945 in Grafton, ND the daughter of the late Juan and Martinia (Moreno) Munoz. She was raised on a farm near Auburn until her family moved to Grafton. She attended school in Grafton. After her schooling she helped her family on the farm, working various jobs. She continued to make her home in Grafton until moving to Fargo in 2010 to live with her daughter Hope. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. She lived for her family and grandchildren and always enjoyed their company. She was an excellent cook and liked to play bingo. Virginia is survived by her children: Mary Fabela, Fargo, ND; Steve (Hope Miller) Fabela, Beulah, ND; Jerry Fabela, Bismarck, ND; Hope (Geoff) Hoselton, Fargo, ND; Alan (Amber) Munoz; Fargo, ND; son-in-law, Hubert Parisien; 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild; brothers: Richard Munoz, Grafton, ND; Tony Munoz, Grafton, ND; Gilbert Munoz, Detroit, MI; Joe Munoz, Grafton, ND; sisters: Gloria Miller, Grand Forks, ND; Rosa Aguilar, Grafton, ND; Josie Gonzales, Crystal City, TX; Victoria Munoz, Fergus Falls, MN. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Sharon, brother Juan. Memorial mass will be Friday, June 19, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Grafton. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 -7:00 PM with a prayer service at 6:00 PM at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton. Friends may call at the church on Friday for one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be a the Landstad Cemetery, rural Auburn, ND.
