Victor P. Rogalla

Victor P. Rogalla, age 76 of Voss, ND passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at the First Care Health Center of Park River. Victor Paul Rogalla was born February 3, 1937 in Pulaski Township, the son of the late Peter and Helen (Phzepiora) Rogalla. He graduated from Minto High School. Victor served in the United States Air Force from 1957-1961. He married Marcella Held and the couple lived in Rugby, ND where he worked for McGuire Brothers as a mechanic. They later moved to Arizona and he worked for Marble Era. The couple returned to Voss and she later passed away. He married Sharol Zander on November 20, 1967 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Fargo. The couple made their home in Voss where he worked for Tibert Farms. He later worked for the Farmer's Union in Minto, Art Wosick Farms, John Schanilec and Roderick Schanilec until his retirement. He served as a volunteer on the Valley Ambulance in Grafton for several years. Victor is survived by his wife Sharol of Voss, ND; children: Warren, College Place, WA, Kevin, Grand Forks, ND; Todd (Renee), Wahpeton, ND; Curtis (Lori), Veseleyville, ND; granddaughter Tori Rogalla, Chicago, IL; step-grandchildren: Erika, Aaron, Stephanie and Rachael, Oldenburg, brother, David (Tracy) Rogalla, Greenbrier, AR, sisters: Lucille (Lou) Piscipelli, New Jersey and Doris (Norman) Buus, Modesto, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Marcella, son Warren Kevin and daughter Kimberly. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at 11:30 A.M. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-7 with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton. Friends may also call at the church on Wednesday for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery, Minto, ND. Military rites will be provided by the Minto American Legion Post #201 and the North Dakota National Guard Honor Guard.
