Vernon C. Seboe

Vernon C. Seboe, age 73 of Park River, ND passed away on Friday, September 23, 2011 at the First Care Health Center of Park River. Vernon C. Seboe was born October 19, 1937 in Park River, ND the son of the late Andrew and Anna Maria (Bendickson) Seboe. He graduated from Park River High School. Following his education he served in the United States Army from February 2, 1960 - March 28, 1962, stationed in Germany. Upon his discharge he returned to Park River where he worked for Williamson Milk Company in Grafton and farmed with his brother. He was united in marriage to Karen Stark on April 26, 1963 in Bathgate, ND. The couple made their home in Park River where he was a route driver for Bridgeman Creameries for 20 years. He later managed the C-Store for Cenex for 15 years, retiring in 2001. Vernon is survived by his wife Karen of Park River, ND; daughters: Darcie Einarson and Denise Seboe, both Grafton, ND; two grandchildren: Sydney and Landen Einarson. Several nieces and nephews also survive. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Arthur, Gustav, Clarence, Gilman and Roy and sisters: Ida Schlenk, Anita Seboe, Lillian Gjerswold, Bernice Pengilly, Ann Severson, Margaret Erovick, Helen Kytola and Myrtle Wanke. Funeral services will be Monday, September 26, 2011 at 10:30 A.M. at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, Park River, ND. Visitation will be Sunday from 5-7 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Park River. Friends may also call at the church on Monday for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Park River, ND. Military rites will be provided by the Paul Farup American Legion Post and the North Dakota National Guard Honor Guard.
