Toni Monsebroten

Toni P. Monsebroten, age 69 of Edinburg, ND passed away on Monday, December 18, 2017 at the First Care Health Center of Park River.

Toni Talbot was born October 10, 1948 in McVille, ND, the daughter of the late Sterling and Ruth (Stenslie) Talbot. She grew up and attended school there, graduating from McVille High School. She was united in marriage to Gary Monsebroten on March 5, 1965 in McVille. The couple made their home there for a short time before moving to Edinburg. She sold Home Interiors and worked for E and M Supply before starting with ASC in 1985. She retired in 2010 and started cooking for the Edinburg Senior Citizens and First Care Health Center until her health forced her to quit.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and WELCA of Edinburg. She enjoyed working with WELCA, china painting, making her own birthday cards and floral arrangements, and many other things crafty.

She is survived by her husband Gary, Edinburg, ND, sons: Brian (Angie), Thompson, ND and Pat, Edinburg, ND, sister Sheila Stenson, Grand Forks, ND, 6 brother-in-laws, 6 sister-in-laws, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Curtis.

Memorial services will be Friday, December 22, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at the Trinity Lutheran Church of Edinburg. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Inurnment will be at the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery of Edinburg in the spring.
