Thomas L Wentz

Thomas Lee Wentz, PhD, 67. Passed away Friday, June 17, 2016 at the Sioux Falls, SD VA.  Tom was born March 26. 1949 in Grafton, ND.  He was living in Nevada, TX where he lived with the Leach family, Glenn, Stephanie, Rachel and Ryan.

Tom joined the US Army in August of 1968, he went to Vietnam January, 1969 to January 1970.  In August 1974 he joined the National Guard where he was a member of the 957 Engineering Company Assault until October 1980 when he joined Detachment 1, 634 Service Company, he was honorably discharged in February 1986.

Tom is survived by 3 children, Renata, Sam and Lauren, 4 siblings, JoAnn, Greg, Mary and Susan.  He is preceded in death by his parents Willard and Dorothy Wentz.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at the St. John's Catholic Cemetery of Grafton.
