Thomas C. Cudmore

Thomas C. "Tom" Cudmore, age 61 of Grafton, ND passed away on Monday, September 1, 2014 at the Altru Hospital of Grand Forks, ND. Thomas Clayton Cudmore was born December 22, 1952 in Park River, ND the son of Clayton and Elizabeth (Kasprick) Cudmore. He grew up and attended school in Park River. As a child he started working with his father and continued to work with him until 1973 when he ventured out on his own in the farming and construction business. Tom was united in marriage to Sandra Aabrekke on February 5, 1971 in Minnewaukan, ND. The couple made their home in Park River until 1986 when they moved to Grafton. Tom was a member of the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, Western Minnesota Steam Threshers of Rollag, MN and the Northeast North Dakota Pioneer Machinery Association of Park River. Tom truly loved his family and will be missed by his wife Sandra, Grafton, ND; his children: Tammie (Gene) O'Toole, Grafton, Craig Cudmore, Fargo, ND; Anna Cudmore (Brady Mullin), Kolfax, ME; Scott Cudmore (Heather Hamilton), Grafton, ND; his mother, Elizabeth "Betty" Cudmore, Park River, ND; three grandchildren: Nicole and Ryan O'Toole and Alexis Cudmore, all of Grafton, ND; his siblings: Jay, Keith and Karen Cudmore, all of Park River, ND, Dean (Margaret) Cudmore, Grafton, ND; Dawn (Craig) Jarolimek, Forest River, ND. Several nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his father, Clayton and granddaughter, Megan O'Toole. Memorial Services will be held Friday, September 5, 2014 at 10:30 A.M. at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Visitation will be Thursday from 5-7 with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton. Friends may also call at the church on Friday for one hour prior to the service.
