Theresa Ann St. Claire

Theresa Ann St. Claire, age 75 of Grafton, North Dakota passed away Monday, May 20, 2019 at the Altru Hospital of Grand Forks.

Theresa Ann St. Claire was born May 23, 1943 in Belcourt, ND, the daughter of the late Charles and Emma (Beston) St. Claire.  She attended school in Dunseith, ND.  She worked at San Haven and Dunseith Nursing Home until moving to Montana.  She then moved to Minot with her family where she worked maintenance for a property management company.  She then moved to Park River in 1999 and was a caregiver to her grandchildren and did seasonal work.  Theresa moved to Grafton in 2011 where she continued to make her home until the time of her death.

She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and a member of the Turtle Mountain Tribe.  She loved spending time with her family, gave great advice, enjoyed making people smile, loved to tell a good joke and was always willing to lend a hand when needed.  She enjoyed fishing, old country songs, playing cards, Bingo, camping, gardening, baking and bead work.

Theresa is survived by her children:  Dale (Lorraine Satran) St. Claire, Grafton, ND; Richard St. Claire, Grafton, ND; Rita St. Claire, Fargo, ND; Robin (Robert) Lopez, Grafton, ND; Rae Lynn (Lloyd Mitchell) St. Claire, Hot Springs, AR; grandchildren:  Lisa, Deanna, Dale Jr., Curtis, Ashley, Tanya Satran, Sarah Villneauve, Tayla, Braden, Taysha, Dylan, Roberto Jr., Tristin, Richard, Santana, Jaron, Jeffrey, Jaden, Jay, Raven and Lloyd Jr.; 19 great grandchildren; siblings:  Virginia (Arthur) St. Claire-Norquay, Dilworth, MN; Vincent St. Claire, Wenatchee, WA; Diane St. Claire, Belcourt, ND.  She was preceded in death by her parents, infant son, grandson, Dale St. Claire, Jr. and seven brothers and sisters.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 11:30 A.M. at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Grafton.  Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church.
