Steven Myhre

Steven R Myhre, age 55 of Grand Forks, ND and formerly of Perham, MN and Park River, ND died Saturday, June 28, 2008 at the Good Samaritan Center of Park River, ND. Steven R. Myhre was born December 1, 1952 in Park River, ND the son of Roy and Juanita (Thompson) Myhre. He grew up and attended school in Park River. Following his education he enlisted in the United States Marine Corp, serving from 1971-1973. Following his discharge he lived in California for a time. He later moved back to North Dakota where he attended the Wahpeton State School of Science, NDSU and Detroit Lakes Technical College. He worked for Lund Boats in Newfolden, MN and later lived in Perham, MN where he worked as a welder and sign painter. He later lived in Fargo and Grand Forks.

Steve was a very artistic person. He enjoyed creating pottery, sculpting and drawing. He loved to garden and was an avid reader. Steve was truly a "Jack of All Trades" and lived life to the fullest.
