Stanley M. Schuster

Stanley M. Schuster, age 85 of Grafton, ND passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at his home in Grafton. Stanley M. Schuster was born September 14, 1924 near Grafton, ND the son of the late Edward and Victoria (Misialek) Schuster. He attended rural school near Grafton. Following his education he started farming with his father. Stanley was united in marriage to Veronica LaHaise on June 3, 1948 at St. John's Catholic Church of Grafton. The couple made their home in Grafton. Stanley continued farming with his son Randy until retiring in 1990. He was a member of the St. John's Catholic Church and Men's Club. He was also active in the Grafton Eagle's Club. He is survived by his wife Veronica, Grafton, ND; his children: Randy (Cherie) Schuster, Grafton, ND; Nancy (Tim) Schumacher, Thompson, ND; Mary (John) Dusek, Grafton, ND; eleven grandchildren: Shannan & Sara Schuster, Stacey (Josh) Nokes, Brian (Jenny), Scott and Laura Schumacher, Samantha, Paul, Ryan, Lindsay and Logan Dusek; his sister Louise Meis, Centennial, CO; and his brother Don, Grafton, ND. Stanley was preceded in death by his parents, an infant daughter and two sisters: Connie Spence and Denise DuFault. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, August 16, 2010 at 10:30 A.M. at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Grafton. Visitation will be Sunday from 5-7 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton. Friends may also call at the church on Monday for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Grafton, ND.
