Shirley A. Sandvig

Shirley A. Sandvig, age 78 of Grafton, ND passed away Saturday, September 10, 2011 at the Altru Hospital of Grand Forks. Shirley A. Harris was born on January 4, 1933 in Grafton, ND, the daughter of the late George W. and Alvina (Maresch) Harris. She attended and graduated from Grafton High School. Shirley was united in marriage to Orlando Sandvig on September 27, 1951 in Crookston, MN. The couple made their home in Grafton where they raised their family. She worked for various people in the community as a secretary until her retirement. She was a member of the Grafton Lutheran Church and the VFW Auxiliary. Shirley is survived by her husband Orlando, Grafton, ND; children: Greg Sandvig, Grafton, ND; Lori (Brad) Arin, Grafton, ND; Cheryl (Larry) Schrank, Grafton, ND; six grandchildren and five great grand children. She was preceded in death by her parents.
