Shirley A. Dvorak

Shirley A. Dvorak, age 78 of Pisek ND, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2009 in Alexandria, MN at the Knute Nelson Memorial Home. Shirley A. Bolduc was born October 2, 1931 near Stephen, MN the daughter of the late Felix and Marie (Landreville) Bolduc. She grew up and attended school there. Shirley was united in marriage to Hubert Dvorak on October 15, 1956 at the Red River Mission Church near Stephen. The couple lived and farmed near Vesleyville until retiring in 2000. Hubert passed away in 2005 and later that year Shirley moved to the Lutheran Sunset Home. In 2007 she moved to Alexandria, MN. She was a member of the St. Luke's Catholic Church and Altar Society. She served as past president of the Altar Society. Shirley is survived by her children: Sandra (Francis) Kouba, Alexandria, MN; Debbie (Larry) Capouch, St. Michael, MN; Michael (Sally) Dvorak, Pisek, ND; seven grandchildren, one great grandchild and siblings: Robert (Thelma) Bolduc, Wallace (Carol) Bolduc, Richard (Bev) Bolduc and Doris (Art) Sundby, all of Stephen, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister Irene Silewski. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Luke's Catholic Church of Veseleyville, ND. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-7 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton. Friends may also call at the church on Wednesday for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the church cemetery.
