Sharon Lee Schufletowski

Sharon Lee Schufletowski, age 65 of Park River, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2013 at the First Care Health Center of Park River. Sharon Lee Simmons was born March 11, 1948 in Cavalier, ND, the daughter of the late Claude and Alice (Hanson) Simmons. She attended school in Hoople and graduated from the Park River High School. She was united in marriage to Louis Schufletowski on November 20, 1965 in Grafton, ND. The couple made their home in Larimore while Louis worked at the Air Force Base. The couple then returned back to Park River. She worked for Larry's Food Center and later as a Supervisor for Friendship until her retirement in 2010. Louis passed away March 12, 2013. Sharon loved spending time at the lake with her family and friends. She loved flowers, gardening, cooking and canning. She was a member of the Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, Park River, ND. Sharon is survived by her sons: Louis (Sharon) Schufletowski, Jr., West Fargo, ND; Mitchell Schufletowski, Fargo, ND; Jason Schufletowski, Fargo, ND; granddaughter Cassandra Schufletowski, Fargo, ND; brother Ron (Becky) Simmons, Jamestown, ND; sister Sue (Doug) Foerster, Grand Forks, ND; sister-in-law Fran Simmons, Park River, ND; Godson Dustin Slaamod. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Louis and brother Larry Simmons. A private family service will be held.
