Sandra J Humphries

Sandra J. “Sandy” Humphries, age 77 of Grafton, ND passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at her home in Grafton.

Sandra J. Severtson was born March 22, 1944 in Drayton, ND the daughter of the late Theodore and Arlein (Burger) Severtson. She grew up in St. Thomas.  She was united in marriage to Rusty Humphries on October 3, 1968 in Grafton. The couple made their home in Grafton. Sandy worked as a cook at the Grafton Developmental Center for over 16 years.

She is survived by her sons: Blaine (Aniela) Humphries, Chugiak, AK; Corey (Cristy) Humphries, Anchorage, AK; grandchildren: Adam (Tahneta) Stroh, Bryce Humphries (Dianne Collins), David Humphries (Hanna Dickinson), Tielyr Ritnour, Hailey, Parker and Hudson Wills, Lauren and Samantha Humphries; great grandchildren: Landon and Lillie Stroh and Isaac Humphries; her siblings: Cynthia (James) Luedtke, Lincoln, NE; David (Ann) Severtson, St. Thomas, ND; and Vernon Severtson, Pembina, ND and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Jerry and an infant son.

Memorial Services will be Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at the Grafton Lutheran Church, Grafton, ND. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church.

Inurnment will be at St. Thomas City Cemetery, St. Thomas, ND.
