Rudy L. Rudnik

Rudy Rudnik, age 87 of Minto, ND passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at the Lutheran Sunset Home of Grafton, ND.

Rudolph L. “Rudy” Rudnik was born November 14, 1932 in Grafton, ND the son of the late Felix and Helen (Sass) Rudnik. He attended elementary school in Warsaw and graduated from Minto High School in 1950. Following his education he took over the family farm. After his brother Felix was discharged from the army he returned home and the brothers formed a partnership. In the winter months the brothers would go out to California and work in the Chevrolet Factory. Rudy moved to the Lutheran Sunset Home in July of 2018.

He was a member of the St. Stanislaus Catholic Church and the PNA of Warsaw. Rudy’s passion was farming.

Rudy is survived by his brother, Felix (Rita) Rudnik, Minto, ND; his sister, Adorine (Larry) Eberhard, Seattle, WA; seven nieces and nephews and nine great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Agraphine.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, January 2, 2020 at 10:30 AM at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Warsaw, ND. Visitation will be Thursday for one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the St. Stanislaus Cemetery Fund.
