Ronald L. Skaro

Ronald L. Skaro, age 84 of Fargo, ND and formerly of Grafton, ND passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at the Villa Maria Nursing Home of Fargo. Ronald Leroy Skaro was born March 24, 1926 in Milton, ND the son of the late Martin and Rowena (Stewart) Skaro. He grew up and attended school there. He was united in marriage to Agnes Vondal on May 12, 1964. The couple made their home in Grafton until 1985 when they moved to Enderlin, ND. She died in February of 1996 and he moved to Fargo, ND. He moved to the Villa Maria Nursing Home in the fall of 2010. He is survived by seven step-children: Norma (Jerry) Kuck, Fargo, ND; Alice Fredrickson, Baudette, MN; Robert Skaro, St. Michael, ND; Wayne Skaro, Grand Forks, ND; Beverly Ellingson, Grand Forks, ND; Linda (Erik) Pihl, Grand Forks, ND; Peter Skaro, Fargo, ND; three sisters: Betty Riske, Grafton, ND; Jean (Albert) Markel, St. Thomas, ND; Donna Slotto, Cavalier, ND and special friend; Donna Bennett, Fargo, ND, 16 step-grandchildren and 27 step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, step-son Harvey Jr., four brothers and five sisters.
