Ronald J Pokrzywinski

Ronald J. Pokrzywinski, age 77 of Grafton, ND passed away on Monday, December 4, 2017 at his home near Grafton.

Ronald J. Pokrzywinski was born August 29, 1940 in Grafton, ND the son of the late Stephen and Nettie (Wesolowski) Pokrzywinski. He attended rural school in Pulaski Township. He served in the North Dakota National Guard. Ronald was united in marriage to Maria Kamrowski on August 5, 1963 in Warsaw, ND. The couple lived in Hawley, MN until 1969 when they moved to the farm near Grafton. He worked for American Crystal Sugar in Drayton, ND for five years. He started farming in the 1970’s and farmed until retiring in 2011.

Ronald was a member of the St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Warsaw, ND and the P.N.A. He enjoyed playing cards and watching sports on television.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Maria of Grafton, ND; his siblings: Betty Feltman, Grafton, ND; Diann Lindell, Chicago, IL; Marlys Schelling, Irvine, CA; Steve (Sandy) Pokrzywinski, Lakeville, MN; his brother-in-law, Eugene Urness, Detroit, MI; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Eileen, brother-in-law, Cyril Feltman and nephew, Jason Feltman.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Warsaw, ND. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at the church cemetery.
