Ronald Lee Helm

Ronald L. Helm, age 77 of Drayton, passed away Monday, September 11, 2023 in Grand Forks, North Dakota.

Ronald Lee Helm was born November 30, 1945 in Drayton, North Dakota, the son of the late Henry and Mabel (Olson) Helm.  He attended school in Drayton, the Northwest School of Agriculture in Crookston, Minnesota and the Police Academy in Devils Lake, North Dakota.  Ronald was united in marriage to Jean Elshaug in Grafton, North Dakota.  The couple made their home in Drayton where they raised their family.

Ronald is survived by his wife Jean Helm, Drayton, ND; daughter Rhonda Sylskar, Drayton, ND; granddaughter Kayla (Sean) Ambrose, Grand Forks, ND; great grandchildren:  Loki Sylskar and Forrest Ambrose; brother Dale (Faye) Helm, Mayville, ND.  He was preceded in death by his parents, son Peter Helm and brother Harold Helm.

Per Ronald’s request, no funeral services will be held.
