Roger Anderson

Roger G. Anderson, 60 of Bemidji, MN died Saturday, June 21, 2015 at his lake retreat on Leech Lake. Memorial services will be at 11:00 am, Thursday, June 25, 2015 at the Tollefson Funeral Home in Grafton, ND with a visitation one hour prior to the service in Grafton. There will be a second memorial service at 11:00 am, Friday, June 26, 2015 at the Cease Family Funeral Home in Bemidji with a visitation one hour prior to the service in Bemidji. He was born September 27, 1954 in Grafton, ND the son of Elvon "Buzz" and Meredith Anderson. He attended school in Grafton and graduated in 1972. He married Denise Horter on August 26, 1977 and had two daughters, Tiffany and Danielle. Roger worked in the auto parts industry for many years including Grafton Auto Electric, East Grand Forks Bumper to Bumper, and Bemidji Napa. He married Alice Stark June 15, 2001 and they just celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary. He currently worked for Homark Homes in Fosston, MN. He enjoyed being outdoors and everything that had to offer; fishing, pontooning, cruising in his Camaro and his lawn work. He also enjoyed playing guitar, singing, tinkering and woodworking. He was active with Relay for Life and enjoyed helping people anyway he could. He loved spending time with his wife, daughters, grandkids, family and his dog Molly. He took good care of his family and loved them very much. He is survived by his wife Alice (Stark) Anderson; daughters Tiffany (Matt) Foss and Danielle Streitz; step-daughters Jessica Szarkowski and Abigail Szarkowski; grandsons Wyatt Foss and Nolan Foss; granddaughter Amelia Streitz; sister Judy (Bill) Keizer and brother Richard (Susie) Anderson. He was preceded in death by his parents.
