Robert L. Vaudrin Sr., age 67 of Grafton, ND passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2014 near Fordville, ND. Robert L. Vaudrin was born December 1, 1946 in Rollette, ND the son of the late Leonard and Laura (Chabot) Vaudrin. He lived for a time in Willow City, ND and the family moved to the Adams area where he graduated from High School in 1964. Bob worked for the Soil Conservation Service in Grafton and Grand Forks. Bob was united in marriage to Stephany Tupa on September 30, 1967 at St. John's Catholic Church in Grafton. The couple made their home in Grafton following their marriage. The couple later owned and operated the 5:45 Club in Grafton. He then worked at Alchem, Harriston Industries and retired from Marvin Windows in 2010. Bob's passions were his family, his music, buck skinning and the outdoors. He was a member of the Heritage Village, and the former Grafton Eagles. He is survived by his wife, Stephany, his sons: Robert Jr, Fordville, ND; Michael (Diana), Minto, ND; Phillip (Anita), Grand Forks, ND; 12 grandchildren, six great grandchildren with another expected in November, his sisters: Judy (Joe) Rysavy, Lawton, ND; and Joyce (Stan) Cowan, Aurora, CO. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Daniel in 2006, grandson, Dusty, granddaughter, Tiffany and sisters, Theresa and Shirley Clevidence. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, July 28, 2014 at 10:30 A.M. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Grafton. Visitation will be Sunday from 5-7 with a prayer service at 7:00 PM and Monday for one hour prior to the service all at the St. John's Catholic Church. Interment will be at the Calvary Cemetery in Park River, ND.
