Robert J. Olsen

Robert J. "Bob" Olsen age 59 of Grand Forks, ND and formerly of Park River, ND passed away on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at the Altru Hospital of Grand Forks. Robert J. Olsen was born March 24, 1951 in Grafton, ND the son of the late Bennie and Margaret (Collins) Olsen. He graduated from the Walsh County Agricultural School in Park River. Following his education he owned and operated Bob's Place in Fordville for a few years. He later moved to Grafton and was affiliated with REM and Friendship Inc. He later moved to Grand Forks and was associated with Agassiz Associates. Bob was a member of the Federated Church in Park River, ND and Friendship Inc. in Grafton. He is survived by his brother Milton (Gloria) Olsen, Park River, ND; aunts and uncles: Harvey (Arlene) Olsen, Fargo, ND; Gladys Sando, Olympia, WA; and Rosemarie Heidke, Litchville, MN. Several cousins also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 4, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Park River Federated Church. Visitation will be Friday from 5-7 PM with a prayer service at 7;00 PM at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Park River. Friends may also call at the church on Saturday for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Memorial Park Cemetery, Park River, ND.
