Ricky Dean Mastre

Ricky D. Mastre, 62, of Park River, ND, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at Sandford Hospital, Fargo, ND.

Ricky Dean Mastre was born on March 28, 1962, the son of the late Ronald Mastre and Janice (Bjornson) Mastre. Ricky attended school in Park River, ND. Ricky moved to Grand Forks, ND, in 1980 and pursued a career as a Mason Bricklayer until his health forced him to retire. Ricky returned to his home roots in Park River, ND, in 2014.

Ricky was not materialistic; if someone were in need, he would give the person his shirt off his back and go without. Ricky truly has a “Heart of Gold”. Ricky was caring and showed kindness and compassion to others, especially his cat Ash.

Ricky was preceded in death by his parents, maternal and paternal grandparents, and his niece, Stephanie. Ricky is survived by his sister, Patti Mastre, of Park River, ND. Ricky is also survived by his nieces, nephews, aunt, uncles, and cousins.

Memorial services will be on Friday, October 4, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Tollefson Funeral Home of Park River.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Inurnment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery of Park River, ND
