Paul 'Flash' Lysengen, 63, of Minto, ND; passed away November 16, 2015, at the Towner County Living Center in Cando ND. Paul Lysengen was born January 29,1952 in Grafton ND, the son of Vernie and Kathryn (Landrigan) Lysengen. He was raised in St Thomas, and graduated from St Thomas Public School in 1970. He attended Mayville State University and was a member of the Comets football team. Paul's love of flying led him to Georgia for training in Argicultural Crop Spraying. In the summer of 1977, Paul experienced a horrific accident while spraying in Kentucky. After a long and difficult recovery, he returned to St Thomas and farmed for many years. Paul enjoyed fishing, camping and watching sports of all varieties. He is survived by his sister Susan Dahlgren, St Michael MN, brothers James Lysengen, St Thomas, Jerry (Lilly) Lysengen St Thomas and several nieces and nephews. He was also a life-long father figure to Anthony Haase. He was preceded in death by his parents. Sincere gratitude is extended to the staff at Hospice and the Towner County Living Center for their wonderful care and support during the last months of Paul's life. Memorial Services will be Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the St. Thomas Catholic Church of St. Thomas. Visitation will be Tuesday for one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be at the Calvary Cemetery, St. Thomas, ND.
