Patrick D Aune

Patrick D. Aune, age 39 of Park River, ND passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2025 in Grafton, ND.

Patrick Aune was born November 13, 1985 in Martin, SD, the son of Patti Mastre and Steven Aune. He grew up and attended schools in Grand Forks and Park River, ND. He obtained his pipe welder certificate and worked for various companies in the Bakken Oil Field as well as for Park River Welding.

He is survived by his son Leif Aune, Park River, ND; mother Patti Mastre, Park River, ND; siblings: Melissa (Tony) Jelinek, Pisek, ND, Stacy Aune, Inkster, ND, Austin Aune, Park River, ND, Lindsey (Scott) Haverman, Lincoln, NE, and Travis Fladeland, Grand Forks, ND; step-grandmother Joan Mastre; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; sister Stephanie Aune; and two uncles.

Funeral services will be Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Victory Free Lutheran Church of Park River. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at the Memorial Park Cemetery of Park River, ND.
