Patricia M. Walls

Patricia M. Walls, age 82, of St. Thomas, ND, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at her home in St. Thomas surrounded by her family and the Hospice of Red River Valley.

Patricia M. Bailey was born December 7, 1940 in Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire England, the daughter of the late Albert E. (Bill) Bailey and the late Dorothy May Joan (Elvin) Bailey. As a child she grew up in the town of Ipswich and had the opportunity to represent her town and school in the sport of swimming. She grew up in a loving household with her mother and 5 siblings, as she lost her father in the Second World War.

It was in 1959 that she met the love of her life, her husband, Francis P. Walls. They married December 9, 1961 and from there, their family and travels grew. She was able to travel extensively with her family, as her husband was in the Air Force, until they settled in St. Thomas in retirement.

Patricia liked to spend her time fishing, hunting, crocheting, having lunches with her friends, bingo and making everyone’s favorite cookies at Christmas. She cherished the holidays with her family and always put on a spread for an army. Patricia spoiled her family with love and being there always, family was most important to her.

Patricia is survived by her children: Julie (Julian) Wangler, Robert Walls, Kimberly Ward; grandchildren: Corey Lowe, Charles Lowe, Joshua Walls, Shawn (Stevie) Ward, Jeffrey Ward; great grandchildren Madysen Ward, Marleigh Ward and Scarlett Ward; siblings: Robert (Jan) Bailey, Roger Bailey, Jennifer (Terry) Wakefield, Christina Sellari, Heather Goetz and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis P. Walls, granddaughter, Grace Walls and her parents, Albert (Bill) and Joan Bailey.

Funeral Services will be Thursday, May 11, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Calvary Cemetery, St. Thomas, North Dakota.
