Patricia Staskivige

Patricia Staskivige, age 61 of Grafton, ND passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at her home in Grafton after a courageous battle with cancer.

Patricia Staskivige was born March 27, 1956 in Grafton, ND, the daughter of the late Alexander and Elizabeth (Durkin) Staskivige. She grew up and attended school in Grafton and later Northland Community and Technical College in East Grand Forks. Following her education, she lived in Ft. Pierre, Rapid City, Blackhawk and Piedmont, SD before returning to Grafton in 2008. She worked various jobs during her life.

She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Grafton. She enjoyed embroidery, crocheting, refinishing furniture, working with flowers, especially roses and tulips and spending time with her family. Her Catholic faith was very important to her and gave her strength to get through any situation she faced.

Patricia is survived by her children: Nathan (Katie) Gravelin, Grafton, ND and Leah (Tia) Santos; siblings: Leo (Joyce) Staskivige, Wenatchee, WA and Linda (John) Ault, Grafton, ND as well as several aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Michael Staskivige.

Memorial services will be Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 10:30 A.M. at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Grafton. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Inurnment will be at the St. John’s Catholic Cemetery of Grafton. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the family to help cover funeral costs.
