Patricia Jeanne O'Toole

Patricia J. O'Toole, age 59 of Grafton, ND passed away on Monday, May 20, 2013 at the Health Services Center of the Grafton Developmental Center. Patricia Jeanne O'Toole was born October 25, 1953 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Dr. James and Georgine L. (Cavegn) O'Toole. The family moved to Fargo and in 1960 they moved to Park River, ND. On April 30, 1962 Patricia moved to the Grafton Developmental Center where she has resided since. Patty enjoyed going on long walks with the staff so she could feel the sun and wind on her face. She loved the water and spending time with her family at the lake cabin. She loved to eat Cheetos and chocolate and enjoyed warm cozy blankets. Patty volunteered for Relay for Life and Coats for Kids. She worked different jobs with the staff. She especially enjoyed St. Patrick's Day and sharing her Irish heritage with all the residents and staff. She loved to attend all the gala's and parties so she could wear her jewelry. Patty was the family's "Angel on Earth". Patty is survived by her mother Georgine of St. Cloud, MN; her siblings: Peggy (John) O'Toole-Martin, Rochester, MN, Bobbie (Calvin) O'Toole-Beasley, Knoxville, TN, Erin (Steve) O'Toole-Tomzcik, St. Cloud, MN, James (Carrie) O'Toole, Mayetta, KS, 12 nieces and nephews and several great nephews. She was preceded in death by her father on July 21, 2008. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, May 24, 2013 at 1:45 PM at the All Faith's Chapel, Grafton Developmental Center. Visitation will be Friday for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery, Crystal, North Dakota.
