Opal Mohagen

Opal Mohagen, age 92 of Grafton, ND passed away on Friday, January 01, 2010 at the Lutheran Sunset Home of Grafton. Opal Lunde was born June 22, 1917 near Edinburg, ND the daughter of the late Anton and Oliana (Rustan) Lunde. She attended rural school near Edinburg. Opal was united in marriage to Alvin Mohagen on November 6, 1937 in Grafton, ND. The couple made their home in Grafton. She was a member of the Grafton Lutheran Church, Grafton Lutheran WELCA and the Order of Eastern Star all of Grafton. Opal is survived by her son Keith (Shirley) Mohagen, Fullerton, CA; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband on April 5, 2005, two brothers and eight sisters. Funeral services will be Thursday, January 7, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton. Visitation will be Thursday for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Grafton Lutheran Cemetery.
