Olga P. Rheaume, age 91 of Edinburg, ND passed away on Monday, January 12, 2009 at the Borg Pioneer Memorial Home in Mountain.
Olga P. Steen was born November 6, 1917 near Edinburg, ND the daughter of the late Amund and Oline (Holm) Steen. She grew up and attended school in Edinburg. Following her education she worked in Grafton for a time before her marriage to Richard Rheaume on October 29, 1947 in Crookston, MN. The couple made their home in Grafton where Olga worked as a waitress for Stan's Cafe'. When Stan's closed she went to work at the Grafton Developmental Center. She moved back to Edinburg in the early 1980's.
She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and WELCA and the Tuesday morning Bible Study.
Olga is survived by her daughter Gail (Lyle) Gestson, Longview, WA; two grandchildren: Joel Gestson and Terri (Kelvin) Carter both of Longview, WA; 1 great granddaughter and three great grandsons. She is also survived by her sisters: Alda Nygard, Park River, ND; Julia Lee, Edinburg, ND and Lenore Windingland, Mountain, ND. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband on Mar. 31, 1971 and siblings: Anna, Mary, Emma, Amanda, Carrie, Alfred, Myrtle, Glenn, Axel and two infant sisters.
Funeral services will be Saturday, January 17, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at the Trinity Lutheran Church of Edinburg. Visitation will be Saturday for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Grafton.
The Tollefson Funeral Home of Edinburg is in charge of the arrangements.
