Norman W. Burger

Norman W. Burger, age 73 of Fargo, ND and formerly of St. Thomas and Grafton, ND passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at his home in Fargo. Norman W. Burger was born January 23, 1941 in Grafton, ND the son of the late Edward and Mildred (Anderson) Burger. He grew up and attended school in St. Thomas, ND. Following his education, Norman worked for area farmers in the St. Thomas area. He was united in marriage to Kathy Enderle on February 20, 1960 at St. Bridget's Catholic Church of Cavalier. The couple made their home in St. Thomas until 2006 when they moved to Grafton. Due to ill health the couple moved to Fargo in 2011. Norman was a member of the St. Thomas Catholic Church, St. Thomas, ND. He is survived by his wife, Kathy of Fargo, ND; children: Carolyn (Ron) Rausch, Billings, MT; Cindy (Kevin) Ehrenstrom, Fargo, ND; Steven (Wendy) Burger, Fargo, ND; Richard (Gaynor) Burger, Baltimore, MD; Eric (Sarah) Burger, Northwood, ND; grandchildren: David (Keiko), Katy, Kris, Jake (Mia), Justin (Anna), Jeremiah (Jackie), Brandon (Alison), Danielle, Austin, Tucker and Gavin, five great grandchildren; siblings: Earl (Roberta) Burger, St. Thomas, ND; Alice (Francis) Eide, Auburn, ND; Jeanne (Rocky) Craig, St. Thomas, ND; Diane (Bill) Campbell, Huron, SD. Many nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters: Evelyn and Sharon and two nephews: Mark and Dion. Mass of Christian burial will be Monday, March 17, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Thomas Catholic Church of St. Thomas, ND. Visitation will be Sunday from 3-5 PM with a rosary at 5:00 PM at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton. Friends may also call at the church on Monday for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at St. Thomas City Cemetery, St. Thomas, ND.
