Norma Jean Robinson

Norma Jean Robinson, age 72 of Rogers Minnesota and formerly of St. Thomas and Grand Forks, ND passed away on Tuesday, August 02, 2016 at the Lake Ridge Care Center of Buffalo, MN.

Norma Jean Opdahl was born August 19, 1943 in Chicago, IL the daughter of the late Glenn and Phyllis (Botner) Opdahl. She grew up and attended school in St. Thomas, ND. She graduated from Aaker’s Business College in Grand Forks, ND. She worked as a secretary for an insurance company and later the University of North Dakota. In 2002 she moved to Rogers, MN to be closer to her sons.

Norma is survived by her son, Scott (Kisten) St. Vincent, Rogers, MN; eleven grandchildren, one great grandson, her siblings: JoAnn (Robert) Thompson, Morris, MN; Cindy (Jerry) Oakland, Jamestown, ND; Guy (Colleen) Daby, Cavalier, ND; Bruce Daby, Portland, OR and Neil (Liz) Daby, Bemidji, MN, and sister-in-law Elaine Opdahl. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Michelle Robinson, son, Douglas St. Vincent, a granddaughter, Paige Contreras and her brother, David Opdahl.

Funeral services will be Monday, August 8, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton, ND. Visitation will be Monday for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at St. Thomas City Cemetery, St. Thomas, ND.
