Mitchell Ensrude

November 9, 1957 — February 27, 2025

Mitchell Paul Ensrude, 67, of Grafton passed away peacefully on February 27, 2025 with family members by his side.

Mitch was born in Hallock, MN on November 9, 1957, to Paul and Janice (Tonder) Ensrude. He grew up in Grafton where he attended public schools and participated in hockey and Boy Scouts. He married his high school sweetheart, Stacie Lee Ferguson, on February 4, 1978. The couple made their home in Grafton where they raised their three children. Mitch worked various jobs in the area before making his career of 46 years at Schumacher & Sons.

Mitch was a member of the local gun club and had an affinity for classic cars. He loved spending time with his family and always looked forward to golfing with his friends. He had a fondness for animals and will be missed by his beloved dog, Gracie.

Mitch is survived by his wife; children Kara Adams, Derek (Kim), and Katie (Jason) Klava; grandchildren Seth, Adrien, Trevor, and Trenton; mother; siblings Layne (Wanda), Brad (Deb), Tamara (Jeff) Ashley, and Jana (Matthew) Thune; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father; mother-in-law Joy Ferguson; and brother-in-law Dallas.

Memorial services will be Friday, March 14, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Grafton Lutheran Church.  Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church.  Inurnment will be at the Grafton Lutheran Cemetery in the spring.
