Michael F. Schrum

Michael F. Schrum, age 62 of Cavalier, ND passed away on Monday, July 2, 2018 at the Wedgewood Manor of Cavalier.

Michael Fred Schrum was born August 21, 1955 in Aberdeen, South Dakota, the son of the late Fred and Daisy (Warnke) Schrum. He grew up in Grafton and graduated from Grafton High School in 1975. He married Suzanne Bolek and the couple made their home in Grafton where he worked at Grafton Implement and Hanson Kopperud. He was later a parts manager for Scott Preusse in Redwood Falls, MN.

He had a lifelong love of bowling and golfing.

He is survived by his daughter Cristy (Corey) Humphries, Anchorage, AK and son Lancer Schrum, Fargo, ND, granddaughters Lauren and Samantha Humphries and grandson Henry Schrum, siblings: Linda Lund, Grand Forks, ND, Albert Schrum, Park River, ND, Deborah James, Lee Summit, MO, Laurie Sattler, East Grand Forks, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Paul and David and sisters: Mary Tyner and Shirley Mutchler.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
