Michael H. French

Michael H. French, age 57 of Oakwood, ND passed away at his home near Oakwood. Michael H. French was born May 23, 1956 at Grafton, ND the son of Charles and Florence (Osowski) French. He attended St. Aloysius Academy in Oakwood and graduated from Drayton High School. Following his education, Michael worked for Gene and Renee French. He later went on his own and started Michael French Construction which he ran until his death. Michael was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Oakwood. He is survived by his mother, Florence French, Oakwood, ND; siblings: Mary Eng, Minneapolis, MN; Greg French, Grafton, ND; Charlotte Foley, Hazel Green, AL; Peter French, Oakwood, ND; nieces and nephews: Justin French, Grafton, ND; Karissa Brossart, Rugby, ND; Melissa Chimento, Pelham, AL; Melanie Eng, Minneapolis, MN; Heather Riley, Meridianville, AL; Frank Foley Jr, Hazel Green, AL; Will Riley, Meridianville, AL; Katie and Joseph Chimento, Pelham, AL; Lily, Logan and Alanna Brossart, Rugby, ND. He was preceded in death by his father Charles. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Oakwood. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-7 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton. Friends may also call at the church on Thursday for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the American Heart Association or the Sacred Heart Cemetery Fund.
