Mary Dolores Seim

Mary Dolores Seim, age 87 of Park River, ND and formerly of Edinburg, ND passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at her home in Park River.

Mary Dolores Storslee was born April 19, 1932 in Ada, MN the daughter of the late Clarence and Helen (Bosworth) Storslee. She grew up and attended school in Underwood, MN and later attended Mayville State Teachers College. Upon her graduation she taught rural school near Milton, ND where she met Everett Seim. The couple married on May 18, 1952 in Underwood. They lived and farmed near Milton, ND until June of 1963 when the moved to Edinburg and started E&M Supply and the Koffe Kup. The coffee shop burn in the 1980’s and the couple continued with the E&M until retiring in 2009. Everett passed away on March 2, 2010. Mary moved to Park River in the fall of 2019.

She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and WELCA, the American Legion Auxiliary, Sons of Norway, Edinburg Booster Club and several other civic organizations.

Mary is survived by her children: Marilee (Roger) Eikom, Tolna, ND; Janet (Mark) Dassinger, Gladstone, ND; Douglas Seim, Shakopee, MN; five grandchildren: Jeffrey Momerak, Rebecca (Bob) Behning, Jessica (Leonel) Benavidez, Tanner (Mandy) Samuelson and Haley (Cole) Brew; 13 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Everett, brothers: William and Charles and sister, Grace, infant twin sisters and son-in-law, Don Momerak.

Memorial services will be Friday, January 17, 2020 at 1:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Edinburg, ND. Visitation will be Friday for one hour prior to the service at the church.
