Mary Theresa Dahlen

Mary (Gallagher) Dahlen, age 61 of Tucson, AZ and formerly of Oakwood, ND died unexpectedly at her home on December 8, 2009. Mary Theresa Gallagher was born July 31, 1948 in Grafton, ND to Mark and Vernette (Lessard) Gallahger. She attended school at St. Aloysius Academy in Oakwood, ND, and graduated from Drayton High School in 1966. In 1969, she graduated from St. Joseph's School of Nursing in Grand Forks, ND. In 1985 she graduated with a BS in Nursing from the University of Arizona in Tucson. In 1995 she received a Master of Science Degree from the University of Arizona. She worked as a nurse in Denver, CO, Grafton, ND and Encino, CA and Tucson, AZ. She married Donald Dahlen in 1969. She is survived by her children: David and Teresa and grandchildren Aiden and Jaxson, all of Tucson, AZ; sisters: Dorothy (Elwood) Schumacher, Drayton, ND; Carol (Ken) Gardner, Drayton, ND; Dianne Schultz, West Fargo, ND; brothers: Ken (Darla) Gallagher, Hilliard, OH; Gene (Rose) Gallagher, Fargo, ND; Donald (Peggy) Gallagher, Crookston, MN; Allan (Ruth) Gallagher, Fargo, ND; Francis (Julie) Gallagher, Fargo, ND; Pat (Missy) Gallagher, Maple Valley, WA. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents: Patrick and Mary Gallagher and Joe E. and Alphonsine Lessard. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 11:30 A.M. at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Grafton. Visitation will be Saturday for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery of Oakwood.
