Marlys G Dusterhoft

Marlys G. Dusterhoft, age 63 of Minto, ND passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at her home in Minto.

Marlys G. Dusterhoft was born August 31, 1954 in Grafton, ND the daughter of the late Victor and Louise ‘Tootie” (Papenfuss) Dusterhoft. She grew up and attended schools in St. Thomas. She attended Lake Region Community College in Devils Lake for Interior Design. Marlys worked as an Independent Insurance Agent specializing in Nursing Home Insurance. She married Graham Smith on July 18, 1987 in St. Thomas, ND.

Marlys is survived by her children: Whitney (Bjorn) Peterson, Minneapolis, MN, Ty Smith, St. Paul, MN; her siblings: Don Dusterhoft, Bellflower, CA; Donna Siewert, St. Thomas, ND; Jan Degenstein, Minto, ND; Eleanor Riopelle, Eugene, WA. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings; Loran, Verna and Beverly.

Memorial services will be Sunday, November 26, 2017 at 3:00 PM at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton, ND. Visitation will be Sunday for one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, rural St. Thomas, ND in the spring.
