Marlene A. Eng

Marlene A. Eng, age 78 of Corsicana, TX, formerly of Grafton, ND passed away on Monday, October 1, 2018 at the Navarro Regional Hospital in Navarro, TX.

Marlene Adele Eng was born October 10, 1939 in Moorhead, Minnesota, the daughter of the late Adeline Jore Robison.  She attended and graduated from Moorhead Public Schools.  After graduation, Marlene worked for Northwestern Bell Telephone Company.  She married Ronald Eng on June 6, 1964 in Moorhead, MN.  Marlene and Ronald lived in Fargo, Grand Forks, and in 1971 moved to Grafton.  Marlene worked for the Grafton Public Schools while living in Grafton.   In 2014, she moved to Wichita Falls, TX to live with her brother until March 2018, when she relocated to Corsicana to live with family.

Marlene was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.  She enjoyed spending time at their family lake home on Devils Lake.  Marlene loved flowers and spending time in her gardens.

Marlene is survived by her daughters, Terry (Doug) Drees, Corsicana, TX and Susan Eng, Moorhead, MN; grandchildren:  Sydney Drees, Grand Forks, ND; Taylor Drees, Stillwater, MN; and Ronee Jo Eng, Bismarck, ND.  She was preceded in death by her mother; husband, Ronald; infant son; and four sisters and three brothers. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
