Mark Anthony Howard

Mark A. Howard, age 56, of Grand Forks, North Dakota, passed away Friday, June 13, 2025 at his home in Grand Forks.

Mark Anthony Howard was born December 20, 1968 in Jacksonville, Arkansas, the son of Patricia (Byers) Howard and the late George Howard.  He grew up and attended school in Jacksonville.  He began working on installing fences eventually owning and operating his own fencing business.  Mark was united in marriage to Myra Janikowski on May 10, 2008 in Grafton, North Dakota.  The couple made their home in Arizona until moving to Grand Forks in 2016.  Mark loved to spend time with his family.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, golf and football.

Mark is survived by his wife, Myra Howard, Grand Forks, ND; his son, Joshua Howard, Grand Forks, ND; mother, Patricia Howard, Dover, AR; brothers:  Shawn (Kathy) Howard, Arkansas and Scott (Barbara) Alsleben, North Carolina.  He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.  Mark is preceded in death by his dad, George Howard, grandparents and brother, Tracy Simons.

Per Mark’s wishes, no funeral services will be held.
