Marjorie F Anderson

Marjorie F. Anderson, age 79 of Park River, ND passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at the Park River Good Samaritan Center.

Marjorie F. Woodcock was born August 8, 1938 in Baker City, OR the daughter of the late Sam and Ruth (Metzger) Woodcock. She grew up and graduated from High School there. Following her education she enlisted in the United States Army on August 27, 1957. She worked as a key punch operator and served in Germany for two years. Marjorie married Frederick Anderson on October 5, 1970 in Miami, OK. She discharged from the US Army in November of 1970 and then went to work as a Civilian Employee at Tinker Air Force Base, retiring in 1981. The couple moved to Park River in 1993 and has made their home here since.

Marjorie is survived by her husband, Frederick of Park River, ND; her siblings: Robert Woodcock of Baker City, OR and Alpha Silver of Portland, OR. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother William.

Memorial services will be Monday, March 12, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Park River. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery of Park River. Military rites will be provided by the Paul Farup American Legion Post and the North Dakota National Guard Honor Guard.
