Mabel M. Pastorek-Harazim

Mabel M. Pastorek Harazim, age 79 of Grafton, formerly of Pisek, ND passed away Thursday, January 29, 2015 at the First Care Health Center of Park River. Mabel M. Krile was born March 19, 1935 in Park River, ND. She grew up and attended school in Pisek, graduating from Pisek High School. Following her education she moved to Grafton and worked as a nurse's aid at St. Joseph's Hospital. Mabel married Stanley Pastorek on November 22, 1954 in Crookston, MN. The couple made their home in Pisek. Stanley passed away on April 23, 1973. Mabel worked as a custodian, cook and bus driver for the Pisek Public School until 1977. She married Robert Harazim in 1977 and he died in 2013. She moved to Grafton in 2013. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church and Altar Society and the Pisek American Legion Auxiliary. She is survived by her children: Stanley (Vicky) Pastorek, Grafton, ND; Darrel (Kari) Pastorek, Hoople, ND; JoAnn (LeRoy) Northagen, Fordville, ND; Jacqueline Pastorek, Grafton, ND; Linda (Kevin) Rauser, WI; 12 grandchildren: Ryan (Kristen) Pastorek, Christy (Jason) Latraille, Cory Pastorek, Ellisha, Kaylee and Lukas Pastorek, Brent, Josh and Megan Northagen, Nikki Hayward, Jessie (Joe) Pic and Kaci Hayward and 12 great grandchildren. Mabel was preceded in death by her husband's. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. at St. John's Catholic Church of Pisek. Visitation will be Monday from 5-7 with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton. Friends may also call at the church on Tuesday for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Pisek, North Dakota.
