Lynnette Marie Moe (73) formerly of Grafton, North Dakota ended her battle with dementia on Friday November 13, 2015 in Woodbury, Minnesota. She was born in Grafton, North Dakota on August 14, 1942 to Nettie and Lynn Hanson and grew up on a farm outside of Park River, North Dakota. She spent her childhood in Park River and graduated from the Walsh County Agricultural School Class of 1960. She married Richard Sanderson on August 31, 1963 and they moved to Grand Forks, North Dakota. They moved to Denver Colorado, and in 1967 their daughter Lisa was born and in 1968 they moved to Bismarck, North Dakota. Finally, in 1970 they moved to Grafton where Cami was born and Scott was born in 1979. Lynnette started to work in the family business around this time helping out at Sanderson's Appraisal, and becoming a mainstay at the Travel Connection on Main St. If you were new in town, you met her through Welcome Wagon. She was the local Welcome Wagon lady for over 25 years. She married Roger Moe on June 29, 1991. She was a pillar of the Grafton community and served on many board of directors including the Sunset Home, Choice Financial, Grafton Lutheran Church Council, and Walsh County Social Services Board. She sold the Travel Connection in the late 1990s. In her retirement, she went back to work at various local businesses and stayed active in the community. She was a long-time member of Grafton Lutheran and enjoyed singing in the choir. She also enjoyed decorating, boating, lefse making, entertaining, traveling, and birthday club shenanigans. She loved her family dearly. Her favorite time of year was Christmas when the farm was full of people and she would get to feed us all. Lynnette shared a very special bond with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lynnette was preceded in death by her parents, Lynn and Nettie Hanson; brother, Lynn Jay Hanson; and husbands, Richard Sanderson and Roger Moe. She is survived by her sister Lois (John) Berdahl; her children Lisa (Dennis) Boe, Cami (Tom) Sanderson, and Scott (Leah) Sanderson; step-children David (Kelly) Moe, Karen (David) Krabbenhoft, Michael (Chris) Moe, James (Nora) Moe, and Susan Moe; grandchildren Lynnae Boe, Breanna Boe, Madilynn Sanderson, Tiffany Gosselin, Josh Moe, Nick Moe, Joanie Krabbenhoft, Sam Krabbenhoft, Jack Moe, and Finn Moe; and great-grandchildren: Bailey Gosselin, Abby Moe and Marcus Moe.
