Lowell G. Campbell, age 69 of Aneta, ND, passed away on Friday, December 14, 2018 at the Aneta Parkview Health Center.
Lowell G. Campbell was born December 20, 1948 in Grafton, ND, the son of the late Oswald and Martha (Pinta) Campbell. He grew up and attended school in Grafton. Following his education he began farming with his father. He quit farming in 1979 and worked in the maintenance department for numerous companies in Arthur, Hunter, Spicer and Fargo, as also worked as a handyman on the side. His health forced him to retire in the late 1990’s and he moved to Mandan and later Bismarck before moving back to Grafton. He moved into the Aneta Parkview Health Center in April of 2014.
He was active in the Catholic Church in Mandan as well as several other groups. He loved books and magazines, freebies, and had binders full of silly jokes.
Lowell is survived by his children: Jessica (EJ) Campbell Sellers, West Fargo, ND, Trina (Tyler) Ellingson, Pembroke Pines, FL and Devin Campbell, West Fargo, ND, grandchildren: Ashley and Aryana Campbell, Tanner and Kaila Ellingson, and step-grandchildren: Courtland and Elizabeth Sellers and Dillon Bentzin, siblings: Geraldine (Joe) Welharticky, York, NE and Devra (Kevin) Olmstead, Grafton, ND, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Colleen.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 11:30 A.M. at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Grafton. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at the St. John’s Catholic Cemetery of Grafton.
